About On the Corner Daycare

On the Corner Daycare is a home-based Daycare established in 2006. It was a dream come true for me Bianca Geustyn, the principal of the daycare.

I grew up in Melkbosstrand after we moved to Cape Town from Benoni. I started this journey at an incredibly young age working with children. I then later decided to study further and got my diploma in Child Care.

One of my beliefs about education is that one is a life-long learner. I believe that it is fundamentally important to instil a love of learning in children and adults alike. In 1997 I received my Diploma in Child Care and I knew that my deepest passion in life was to work with children

In 2006 I decided that working for herself, bring my own ideas to the playground was the next step in my journey. I was very excited to bring all this knowledge that I have built up and pour it into my daycare where I will help prepare your little one’s with the tools and confidence they need to arrive and succeed with in grade R.

It was a dream come true for me Bianca Geustyn, the principal of the daycare.
